Official sources say that the file for the swearing-in of ministers was sent for the President's approval. No information could be obtained on this till late Friday evening. It is likely that this file may reach the Raj Niwas from the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday morning.
According to information received from officials, the resignation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the formation of a new government under the leadership of Atishi has been approved by the President. After this, preparations for the swearing-in ceremony on Saturday have been completed.
Senior AAP leaders, MLAs and MPs including former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal may also attend the swearing-in ceremony. Atishi has already appealed to the MLAs and workers not to garland the ministers. However, the situation regarding the ministers is not clear yet. If this file reaches the Lieutenant Governor after approval from the President, then he will also take oath along with the Chief Minister on Saturday.
