Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deposit more than Rs 22,700 crore of Kisan Samman Nidhi in the accounts of more than nine crore farmers across the country from Bhagalpur in Bihar on 24 February. Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan gave information about this on Sunday. Speaking to the media at Patna Airport, Chauhan said, “On Monday, the Prime Minister will come to Bihar and will submit the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi in the accounts of nine crore 80 lakh farmers across the country with one click.” The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is a boon for small farmers. Chauhan also said that PM Modi will discuss the establishment of Makhana Board during this period, which was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the recent Union Budget. At present, Makhana farmers are facing many difficulties. Their problems will be solved through technology.
