He emphasized the need to preserve India’s linguistic diversity on Friday. He also said that the country needs many languages including not only two, Tamil.

Addressing party workers at an event in Kakinada district, Kalyan said, ‘India needs many languages, not two. We should adopt linguistic diversity. It is necessary not only to maintain the integrity of our country, but also to promote love and unity among our people.
In fact, Pawan was speaking at the 12th Foundation Day celebrations of the party in Pithapuram city of Kalyan district. His remarks have come amid the allegations of imposing Hindi on the central government by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. The case started with the Tri-Bhasha formula of the National Education Policy (NEP).

Pawan Kalyan accused the Tamil Nadu politicians of hypocrisy of hypocrisy without taking direct nominations at the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK). He said that they oppose Hindi, but allow Tamil films to dub in Hindi for financial benefits. He asked, ‘I do not understand why some people criticize Sanskrit.
