Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been awarded the highest honor of Cyprus. Cyprus President Nicos Christodolidase honored Prime Minister Modi with the Grand Cross of the Order of Makaros III, the highest honor of Cyprus. The order of Makaros III is the Nightthuded Award provided by Cyprus, named Cyprus’s first President Archbishop Makaros III.

Earlier in March, Mauritius Prime Minister Naveen Chandra Ramgulam honored PM Modi with his highest civilian award ‘The Grand Commander of the Star and Ki of the Indian Ocean’. This honor was given to Prime Minister Modi for his contribution to strengthen relations between India and Mauritius. Modi is the first Indian to receive this honor. It was the 21st International Award, which has been given to Prime Minister Modi by another country. After this, in April, the Sri Lankan government honored Prime Minister Modi with ‘Sri Lanka Mitra Vibhushan Samman’. The Sri Lankan government gives this honor to the heads of state who have good relations with Sri Lanka.
