During the Question Hour in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, CM Mamta Banerjee made a big charge on the BJP on Monday. Mamta Banerjee said that Bengali speaking citizens are being targeted in BJP ruled states. Incorrect action is being taken by calling them Bangladeshi. Alam is that Bengalis who have legitimate documents are also being called illegal Bangladeshi migrants. After this, BJP MLAs created a ruckus.

Mamta Banerjee said that the BJP should be ashamed that they are calling real Indian citizens only on the basis of their language. Along with Bengali, you should also feel proud to speak in Gujarati, Marathi and Hindi. If you ask me, I can speak in all these languages. On the one hand, you are describing Indians as Bangladeshi due to the words spoken by them and on the other hand you are depriving these people who have voter ID cards, PAN and Aadhaar cards, deprived of the right to earn livelihood in their states.
Accusing the Center of stopping the budget to the state, the Chief Minister said that despite the BJP’s half -behavior, the state has built 69,000 km of roads under Pathshri and started a housing scheme of Rs 11,000 crore. Bengal topped the road and rural housing project rankings five consecutive times.
The CM said that even after the economic crisis, people in the state are getting an average of 50 days of employment and their government has created 1.5 crore working days under various schemes. On one hand, the BJP is depriving the poor people of Bengal. On the other hand, the process of deaths in various accidents in your states continues.
He said that his government is working to protect the interests of Scheduled Castes (26 percent), Scheduled Tribes (6 percent), Backward Castes and Muslims (30 percent) as per the instructions of the Supreme Court and High Court on social welfare.
