What did Trump say?
Trump wrote on Truth Social, ‘French President Emmanuel Macron, who wanted the campaign, mistakenly said that I am leaving the G7 Summit in Canada and going back to DC, so that I can work on a ceasefire between Israel and Iran. Wrong! They do not know why I am going to Washington now, but it definitely has nothing to do with the ceasefire. There is much bigger and important task than this. Whether it is intentional or inadvertently Emmanuel always speaks wrong. Keep watching! ‘
Earlier, Macron said that Trump’s goal is to make a peace agreement between Iran and Israel. He told reporters at the G7 Summit, ‘It is actually proposed to meet. Special proposals were made to stop a ceasefire and then to start widespread discussion. ‘ It was claimed that Trump’s West Asia’s envoy Steve Witcoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi could meet to discuss the nuclear deal and the conflict.
