During the meeting of PM Modi and Mark Carney, India and Canada have agreed to appoint new High Commissioners. The two countries will again appoint new High Commissioners to start general diplomatic services. This will benefit citizens and traders of both countries. A statement issued by the office of the Prime Minister of Canada said that Karney and Modi confirmed the importance of Canada-India relations based on mutual respect, rule of law and commitment to the principle of regional integrity.
