Two -time Olympic medalist and Indian spear throw star Neeraj Chopra won the Paris Diamond League on Friday. Neeraj won his first Diamond League title in two years by defeating German rival Julian Weber in a tough match. 27 -year -old Neeraj’s best throw was 88.16 meters. He achieved this distance in the first round, but in the latter five throw he could not touch the 90 meter mark. Neeraj’s second throw stood at 85.10 meters and then threw a spear 82.89 meters away in his sixth and final attempt. His three attempts were foul. Weber finished second with his early throw of 87.88 meters, while Brazil’s Louis Maurisio da Silva finished third with his third round attempt of 86.62 meters.

1. Doha Diamond League, 2025
Neeraj Chopra finally threw a throw of 90.23 meters by crossing the 90 -meter barrier, but finished second in the Doha stage of the Diamond League after the Julian Weber of Germany. Weber threw a throw of 91.06 meters in his last attempt, while Neeraj did so in the third attempt. This is Neeraj’s best throw ever.
2. Stockhom Diamond League 2022
Neeraj Chopra won a gold medal in the Diamond League 2022 in Sweden with a Javelin throw of 89.94 meters. With this throw, he improved his individual best 89.30 m set at Pavo Nurmi Games in Finland.

3. Paris Olympic Final, 2024

6. Paris Diamond League, 2025
Neeraj Chopra won the title by throwing a spear 88.16 meters away in his first attempt in the Paris Diamond League. This is the sixth best throw according to their distance.
7. World Athletics Championship, 2022
Neeraj created history by becoming the only Indian athlete to win a silver medal at the World Athletics Championship. He registered his name in the record book with an effort of 88.13 meters.
