Vikram Jha was a resident of Laheriyasarai in Darbhanga. He was living his life in a rented house in Ramakrishna Nagar police station area of Patna and living with his wife and child while running a grocery shop. Local people took him to Patna NMCH for treatment in an injured state, where his condition was said to be critical. During treatment, the doctor declared him dead.
