The Election Commission said on Thursday that it had prepared the final list of the electoral college for the Vice Presidential election. This election has become necessary due to Jagdeep Dhankar’s resignation as Vice President. The Vice President of India is elected by the electorate, which consists of elected and nominated members of the Rajya Sabha and elected members of the Lok Sabha.

The commission said in a statement that the list of electoral college for the Vice Presidential Election 2025 has been finalized. From the date of notification issuing, this list can be purchased at the special counter made in the office of the Election Commission. Notification is likely to be released soon.
