According to the Haj 2026 guideline, the Haj application process will be completed in August. At the same time, the process of Haj flight is likely to start from April 2026. In such a situation, the request to cancel Haj pilgrimage will be accepted only in extraordinary cases this time. Apart from this, a fee will be charged from Haj pilgrims on cancellation of Haj.

The fee will be charged in this way

After completion of the selection process, 5 thousand rupees for cancellation of the journey by 30 September 2025. 10 thousand rupees from October 1 to October 15. 15 thousand rupees from 16 October to 31 October. 20 thousand rupees from November 1 to November 15. 25 thousand rupees from 16 to 30 November. 30 thousand rupees from 1 to 15 December. 35 thousand rupees from 16 to 31 December 2025. 50 thousand rupees will be charged from January 1 to January 15, 2026 and one lakh rupees can be charged from 16 to 31 January 2026. Apart from this, after 31 January 2026, the entire amount deposited by the passengers who canceled the yatra will be confiscated.

Rebate in these cases

The journey will be canceled when the journey is unsuitable due to the death of a Haj pilgrim, the government medical authorities due to serious illness and a longer period of pregnancy. In such a situation, there will be a deduction of only Rs 2,300 in the deposit amount on the recommendation of the State Haj Committee. However, there will be a deduction of 5 thousand rupees on the cancellation of Haj pilgrims going with them.

State Haj Committee Secretary SP Tiwari says that this time the process of Haj pilgrimage has been started soon due to the rules of the Saudi Arabia government. The fee of release and other arrangements is already to be deposited in Saudi Arabia. On the cancellation of the journey, the deposit amount will not be returned to the Haj Committee of India. That is why the Haj Committee of India has made a rule of cuts.
