Akash Deep, who came to bat as a nightwatchman, rocked the Oval Test. He achieved great achievement by playing a brilliant half -century innings in the fifth Test match against England. He became the third Indian player to score more than 50 runs and 10 wickets in a Test series on foreign soil.
