The body of a 15 -year -old girl from Puri in Odisha was brought from Delhi to the state on Sunday night. He died on Saturday evening while undergoing treatment at Delhi AIIMS. After the post -mortem in AIIMS Delhi, the body of the girl was brought from Delhi by a service plane.

A senior police officer said that amidst tight security arrangements, the body of a minor girl reached Biju Patnaik International Airport, from where her body was taken to her ancestral village in Balga in Puri district.

Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister paid floral tributes

According to the official, the body of the girl reached the airport, Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida and Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling consoled her father and paid floral tributes to her.

On July 19, miscreants set fire

Significantly, on July 19, a 15 -year -old girl was allegedly set on fire by three unidentified miscreants in Balga. In 70 per cent scorched condition, she was first taken to Pipili CHC, then Bhubaneswar AIIMS and finally to Delhi AIIMS. He died during treatment on Saturday evening after fighting the battle of life and death for 14 days.

Girl’s father claimed suicide

Hours after the minor’s death, the Odisha police claimed that no one else was involved in the incident. The police had appealed that no sensational statement should be made on the matter. The girl’s father also released a video claiming that she committed suicide due to mental trouble.
