There was a lot of uproar in the Rajya Sabha today on the issue of the presence of CISF personnel in the House. In fact, the Chairman objected to the fact that when Kharge wrote a letter about the deployment of CISF personnel, why was it released in the media. The Chairman called it a violation of the rules of the House. On this, Kharge said that he could not give information about the letter to all, so he issued a statement in the media about it. During the discussion, JP Nadda questioned the opposition’s attitude and said that the opposition needs to take tuition from them.
‘Performance in Well against the rules of the House’
In fact, while giving information about Kharge’s letter, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha, Harivansh said that by issuing the letter in the media, the right to give information to the public has been violated. The Deputy Chairman then mentioned several incidents when the people of the ruling party were speaking in the House and the opposition MPs came near their seats and tried to disrupt their address. The Chairman said that ‘is it not a violation of democratic rights? He said that performance by members in well is wrong and it is against the tradition of the House because Well has a sanctity. ‘
Kharge asked- Are we terrorists?
On the statement of the Chairman, Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge said that when the leaders of the House are raising important issues, the deployment of CISF personnel in the House is wrong at that time. He gave examples that ‘when Arun Jaitley was the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha and Sushma Swaraj was the Leader of the Opposition, he said that interruption is also a way to strengthen democracy. We will continue to perform in a democratic way and this is our democratic right. Kharge said that in such a situation, if I wrote a letter to you and information was given in the media about it, then why do you have such objection to it? I cannot inform all members, so a press note issued. Tell me why CISF was deployed in Well? Are we terrorists?

JP Nadda said- Take tuition from me
Reacting to Kharge’s statement, JP Nadda, the leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha, said that it is undemocratic to disrupt the proceedings and it is against the rules. The events that the Deputy Chairman mentions how the speaker was interrupted while speaking, it is not a democracy, it is not a way to work. I have been in opposition for more than 40 years, take tuition from me. It has been only 10 years for you, now you have to stay in 30-40 years and opposition. Arun Jaitley’s statement was quoted that disrupting is part of democracy, but there are other ways to disrupt. If I tuition from me, I will tell.
Nadda said in a loud voice that ‘If you will lose sticks and your sticks are on my nose then it is wrong. Your democracy ends where my nose begins. When the opposition MPs leave their place and stand next to the speaker and shout slogans, it is not a protest but anarchy and tries to make anarchy. Nadda said that ‘whoever helps in operating the House on the orders of the Chairman in the House, it is martial and not a member of a paramilitary force.’
What is the whole controversy
Recently, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge wrote a letter to the Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, saying that when the members of the House were raising important issues, the deployment of CISF personnel in the well of the House is surprising. Kharge said that our Parliament has reached this level? This is extremely condemnable. Kharge wrote this letter when some opposition MPs were demonstrating in the House on the matter of intense revision of voter list in Bihar. When he tried to enter the well, he was stopped by CISF personnel. Kharge said that Marshall is stationed at the gate of the House and comes in only at the behest of the speaker, but in this session, CISF personnel have been put on duty of marshals. There is a lot of dispute on this.
Rijiju accused Kharge of misleading
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said in the Rajya Sabha, ‘I would like to clarify one thing. Leaders of the opposition are very senior leaders. Mallikarjun Kharge raised the question. He had clearly stated that army people would be brought to the House, CISF personnel were brought and Delhi Police was brought. It is clear in the record that only martial can enter the House. Only Marshal was here that day. Therefore, the Leader of the Opposition misled and presented false facts here. They have also written to you. When the Leader of the Opposition writes false letters to the Chairman and present false facts, what action should be taken?
