On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, women will be able to travel free of cost in all types of buses from 6 am on Friday morning to 12 noon on Sunday 10 August, along with a hitchhiker in the buses of Transport Corporation. Regarding this, the Transport Corporation will operate 986 buses and reserve 50 buses. The holidays of drivers and operators for better operation of buses have also been canceled till August 12.

Regional Manager of Transport Corporation RK Tripathi has established a help desk at all bus stations. The control room has been created. Whose number is 8726005808. On this, passengers can call from 6 am to 12 pm. Shift -wise officials have been imposed on all stations. Two enforcement vehicles have also been deployed.
Among them, one Awadh bus station and the other will be patrolled on Lucknow Sash -Rae Bareli and Lucknow -Kanpur routes. Employees have been installed by making a peaking point at major places in the city regarding the smooth traffic of women. Cleaning and checking of buses is being done at 13 points in the workshop. The buses that come more than 200 km will also be cleaned.
