
Earlier, NDRF’s K-9 team (investigative dog) has also got its abilities in Turki and Myanmar. The NDRF team has started searching in Dharli with SDRF and ITBP. The rescue teams from the disaster affected areas of Uttarkashi have so far evacuated more than 700 people to the innovation.
Apart from this, people trapped around the ground zero in Dharali have also been evacuated from there. Also, the work of finding people buried under the debris about 15 feet now has started. Rescue teams are engaged in carrying out this rescue operation with the help of various equipment and machines.

They are being used for the first time in India. Operation Brahma was run after the earthquake in Myanmar with the help of such dogs of NDRF. NDRF’s dog squad reached Turki two years ago under Operation friend in the earthquake affected area. Hundreds of earthquakes were discovered there too.

The SDRF of the state is also conducting a search operation in Dharli with state -of -the -art equipment. This device, named Victim Locating Camera, has a camera on the edge of a long rod that is sent to a narrow place.

From there it sends a picture to the display in the employee’s hand. This also saves the discovery time and can easily find people trapped in debris. Apart from this, SDRF is also taking help of its investigative dogs in this discovery campaign.
