Russia launched a major attack on Ukraine late on Tuesday night. According to Ukrainian officials, Russia fired more than 500 drones and about two dozen missiles simultaneously. The highest target of this attack is the civil structure, especially power plants. The attack took place at a time when the winter season is approaching and the war continued for three years has already affected Ukraine’s electricity and heating system badly.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that the center of the attack was western and central Ukraine. At least five people have been injured during this period. President Volodimir Jailonsky said that the attack is an attempt to show Russia’s power. He warned that Vladimir Putin wants to show the international community that he has no curb.
Russia should be imposed more stringent restrictions- Jailonski
Ukrainian President Volodimir Jailonski said on social media, ‘Putin is showing the mindset of avoiding his cruelty and punishment. This aggression of Russia continues because there is not enough international pressure on its war economy. Now the time has come to impose more strict restrictions on Russia.
