School Closed on 4 September: Constant rain and flood-like conditions in North India have disturbed life. Keeping in mind the safety of the people, the administration has ordered the closure of schools in many states on tomorrow i.e. 4 September 2025. All government and private schools will remain closed in many districts of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. Parents and students are appealing to contact their respective schools for correct leave information.

School Holiday in UP: Schools closed in four districts of UP tomorrow

Dr. V.K., DM of Meerut Singh has taken a big decision in view of the continuous rains in the district for three days. He has also declared a holiday for all students from nursery to class 8 from the council, state-government aided schools, CBSE, ICSC and Madrasa Board affiliated to class 8.

Due to heavy rains in Hapur, the administration has decided that schools of all boards from class nursery to 12th will be closed on September 4 in the district.

Flood -like conditions have been created in Mathura district. The water level of the Yamuna river is rising rapidly and waterlogging has been increased in many areas, which has entered some schools as well. In view of the situation, the District Basic Education Officer (BSA) has declared a holiday in all schools up to class 12 on Wednesday and Thursday (3 and 4 September).

On the orders of the District Magistrate in Agra, the Education Department has directed all secondary and other board schools to be closed on September 4, 2025. According to the order, due to the safety of the students due to heavy rains and waterlogging, all the council primary, upper primary, composite, state, non-government aided, recognized, financeless, CBSE, ICSE and all board schools will have a holiday from pre primary to class 12th (September 4) on Thursday (September 4).
