US President Donald Trump once again made a big statement about his tariff policy. This time in Trump’s statement, the attitude towards India looked a bit soft. For this reason, he called the tariff imposed on India as action against Russia. He said that the US has not yet imposed Phase-2 and Phase-3 tariffs on countries doing business from Russia.
What else did Trump say about India?
During a conversation with reporters on Wednesday, Trump said that India is the second largest oil buyer in Russia after China. Therefore, there are direct action against Russia tariffs imposed on India. He said that the US has imposed a total of 50 percent tariffs on India, in which 25 percent secondary selection has come into force from 27 August. Trump further said that would you say that no action was taken by imposing secondary selection on India? It is damaging Russia by hundreds of billion dollars. I have not started Phase-2 and Phase-3 yet.

Warning was given two weeks ago
Let us know that before this, Trump has warned India about the tariff. Earlier, he had warned India two weeks ago that if India kept buying oil from Russia, it would face big problems. Apart from this, in a radio interview, Trump also said that India has offered him no tariff. He told that earlier India was the most tariffs imposed, but now India has said that they are ready to remove the tariff.
China-India harm us with tariffs- Trump
Trump also said that China, India and Brazil harm us with tariffs. I have the best knowledge of tariffs. Along with this, he described India as unilateral and unbalanced and said that India has been making it difficult to enter the US market, while India has been selling a lot of goods to America.
