NATO secretary general Jens Stoltenberg has warned that Russian president Vladimir Putin would be more likely to wage war against NATO if he won in Ukraine. “A world where the lesson for Putin is that he gets what he wants by using military force is also a more dangerous world for us. “If Russia wins this war, he [Putin] will have confirmation that violence works. Then other neighbouring countries may be next,” Stoltenberg said in a speech at a political event in Utøya, Norway. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Army has said that the ongstanding strongpoints of Ukraine’s defense in the east have come under intense attack in recent days. It added that Russian forces are eyeing a push north from occupied southern Ukraine and it could bring the war to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s hometown, Kryvyi Rih.
