A sudden blast occurred on Sunday morning at the firecracker factory in village Kishanpur in Nhataur police station area. The blast was so severe that his voice was heard about ten kilometers away.

The sudden blast caused panic throughout the area and people came out of their homes. Smoke was seen rising around the factory.

Local villagers informed the police and administrative officials about the incident. Nahtaur police, fire brigade and administrative officials reached the spot.

CO Abhay Kumar Pandey said that the incident took place around 7:30 pm on Sunday. Two-three men are reported to have been injured.

The license of the cracker factory is in the name of Bhudev Singh, a resident of Sikri elderly. Many injured including Ashish have been sent to the hospital. The entire case is being investigated.
