Pakistan lost to India in the final of the Asia Cup 2025. But there was more controversy than the defeat over the incident which embarrassed the entire Pakistan cricket. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President and Home Minister Mohsin Naqvi came under criticism after the finals and comments. Meanwhile, former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi directly attacked Naqvi and clearly said that he would now have to decide whether to run cricket administration or do politics.
