There is a relief news for the devotees who come to visit Maa Vaishno Devi. After bad weather for the last three days and the Yatra being temporarily suspended, the registration rooms will be reopened by the Shrine Board on Wednesday. Since morning, the movement of devotees has increased in the religious city of Katra and the atmosphere is echoing with the chants of “Jai Mata Di”.

The weather remained completely clear after the sun came out on Tuesday morning. Due to this, it was decided to start the yatra from Wednesday. Shrine Board officials said through tweet that after the report of the Meteorological Department, the security check has been completed and now the devotees are being allowed to proceed towards the building. The Shrine Board has appealed to the devotees to follow safety rules and keep an eye on the weather conditions during the yatra. The administration has also completed the work of cleaning and repairing all the roads and paths leading to the holy cave. If the weather remains favorable then there is a possibility of a significant increase in the number of devotees in the coming days.

Shivkhodi Yatra postponed for three days will also start today

The yatra will resume on Wednesday after three days at Shivkhodi Dham, the second largest religious place in Pauni district. Let us tell you that due to bad weather, along with the pilgrimage of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji, the religious place Shivkhodi cave was also closed for the devotees.

Manager of Shri Shivkhodi Shrine Board, Tarsem Lal Sharma said that if the weather is clear in the morning, then along with the Yatra of Vaishno Devi, the Yatra of Shivkhodi will also be opened at 8 in the morning. Devotees will be allowed to go from base camp Ransu to Shivgufa and have darshan of Bholenath.
