At the same time, this shutdown is also becoming a matter of concern for government employees. The reason is that the Trump administration has given a big statement on Tuesday that the government employees are not sure to get the last salary in the event of shutdown. The administration says in this matter that the decision regarding salary will now depend on the Congress whether it should give salary or not.
Explain that this decision of the Trump administration is reversed by the policy which was already running, in which about 7.5 lakh employees were paid after shutdown. In 2019, Trump had signed a law, in which it was decided that all employees would get salary after shutdown. But now in a new letter from the Budget Office of the White House (OMB), it has been said that this salary will be received only when the Congress will approve it.

Strategy to pressurize drawbacks?
In the event of a shutdown, this step of the Trump administration is considered to be a strategy to pressurize the Democrats so that the government will agree to resume. President of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson said that this would increase the pressure on Democrats to take the right steps. However, he also admitted that he had not read this entire memo.
Democrats told the conspiracy to scare
At the same time, in this case, Democratic Senator Patty Murray attacked the Trump administration and said that it is an attempt to intimidate and threaten the employees. Under the US law, it is already clear that all employees should get salary after shutdown. It has been the tradition so far that even though the employees do not get the salary during the shutdown, they are later returned to the entire money. But this new stance of the Trump administration can give rise to a legal battle. There is no consensus in the Congress on this issue at the moment. Democrats are demanding health services funds, while Republicans are in favor of avoiding it.
