At around 7:30 pm on Wednesday evening, there was a stir due to a strong explosion near the Markas mosque in Mishri Bazar of Moolganj police station area. The blast was so strong that its voice was heard up to 500 meters away. The sudden explosion caused chaos in the market and people rushed to the road to save their lives.
The intensity of the explosion caused cracks in the walls of many shops and houses nearby. Five people were injured in the incident, who have reached the spot and admitted to Ursla Hospital. On the information of the blast, the force and bomb squad team of several police stations including Moolganj reached the spot. The police have laid siege to the area and started investigation. The primary investigation could not ascertain the cause of the explosion. Officials said that forensic teams and bomb disposal squads are investigating, it would be clear only after the report came.
