A major decision has been taken to cancel the graduate level examination of Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission. The single-member inquiry commission constituted for the investigation had today submitted its report to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The Commission had conducted graduate level examination in the state on September 21, in which about one lakh five thousand candidates had appeared.
During the examination, three pages of the paper from a center in Haridwar came out through mobile and went viral on social media during the examination itself. In this matter, the students had agitated for cancellation of the examination and demand for a CBI inquiry, in which Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself reached the protest site and announced a CBI inquiry.
Demand to cancel the exam in the interest of students
Along with constituting the SIT in the case, CM Dhami had also constituted a single-member investigation commission headed by Justice UC Dhyani, retired from the Uttarakhand High Court.
The inquiry commission has submitted its report to the government on the basis of public dialogue held everywhere. On the basis of this report, the government has taken a big decision to cancel the examination. On the other hand, the BJP MLA delegation met CM Dhami on Friday and demanded to cancel and re-conduct the examination in the interest of the students.
