Biden’s fresh ploy to woo India away from Russian weapons; U.S preps arms aid

U.S President Joe Biden is doing all he can to checkmate his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. As per reports, US is preparing a military aid package for India to deepen security ties and reduce the country’s dependence on Russian weapons. The package under consideration would include foreign military financing of as much as $500 million. This would make India one of the largest recipients of such aid behind Israel and Egypt from U.S. It’s unclear when the deal would be announced, or what weapons would be included. India too hasn’t responded on the development yet.
