Iran’s oil workers join anti-hijab stir, chant ‘Death to Dictator’ | Updates

The anti-hijab protests and the unrest in Iran sparked by Mahsa Amini’s death has now spread to its oil refineries. Reuters reported that workers at Abadan and Kangan oil refineries and the Bushehr Petrochemical Project have also joined in the protests. Meanwhile, a crackdown by riot police and the government has intensified with several videos showing the police opening fire at protesters and randomly firing at houses.
