Haryana’s Maiden Pharmaceutical is under scrutiny after 66 children died in the West African nation Gambia. The production of cough syrups has been stopped for now by Manohar Lal Khattar govt after major irregularities were found during inspection in the manufacturing of cough syrups. A notice has been sent to the company after the inspection team found that the firm did not perform quality testing of a raw material used in the manufacture of one of the medicines.
