Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has warned Ukraine and the West not to force his ally Russia into a corner. A trusted partner of Putin, Lukashenko said Moscow had nuclear weapons for a reason. In an interview released by Belarus’s state news agency, Lukashenko said that it was important that the U.S and allies not cross the ‘red lines’. Concerns mounted in the West when Belarus sent its troops to join Russian forces near its border with Ukraine.
