Putin blasts Zelensky, imposes martial law in annexed Ukraine regions amid war

Russian President Vladimir Putin has declared martial law in four ‘annexed’ regions of Ukraine. Putin’s order to introduce military rule in the Moscow-controlled regions also gives additional power to authorities in Russian border areas. It comes at a time when the fighting has intensified in the battleground. Putin’s decree extends additional powers to limit movement, censor and strengthen curfew in these regions.
