The Pakistan Embassy in Kabul came under attack. An unidentified man opened fire at the embassy. Pakistan Foreign Office claimed that it was a targeted attack on chargé d’affaires Ubaid Ur Rehman Nizamani, who survived the alleged assassination bid. The security guard at the embassy was, however, injured in the attack. Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the attack and demanded an investigation in the matter.
