Bangladesh fire: At least 40 dead after multiple explosions at Chittagong depot

A massive fire broke out at a container depot in Bangladesh’s Chittagong. More than 35 people have been killed and hundreds sustained injuries. Authorities fear that the death toll may increase further as many are in serious condition. The fire broke out at 9 pm yesterday which later spread rapidly following explosions in chemicals kept in containers. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Army has been deployed to prevent chemicals from flowing into the sea.
