The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) health department has appealed to the citizens to take their booster doses following a slight increase in the number of Covid cases.
The number of active cases in the twin cities has reached around 80 from less than 20 till the last week of May. The daily positive cases recorded in KDMC are now above 10. KDMC has also kept two of its Covid centres ready in case of an increase in the cases in the coming days.
“The daily Covid cases have increased a bit compared to last month. Now, we need to make sure those who have taken both their doses should take the booster dose without delay. On an average a total of 150-200 testing is being carried out by KDMC as of now.
