Israel was lectured by its allies last night to follow international humanitarian laws and protect civilians while defending the warring nation’s right to self defence. The message was given after U.S. President Joe Biden spoke with his French counterpart, German Chancellor, Canadian, British and Italian Prime Ministers. “The leaders committed to continue close diplomatic coordination, including with key partners in the region, to prevent the conflict from spreading, preserve stability in the Middle East, and work toward a political solution and durable peace,” read the statement.
