Israel Army foiled attacks on its gas producing platform in the Mediterranean sea. Israeli Army intercepted three drones launched by Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement. It claimed that UAVs were headed towards the Karish gas rig. According to AFP, one drone was intercepted by fighter jet & the other 2 were by a warship. The failed attack came at a time when US energy envoy Amos Hochstein is currently mediating between Israel and Lebanon on a deal to settle the maritime border dispute between the two countries.
