‘Will crush…’: China flies military jets as U.S delegation arrives in Taiwan

Fresh China vs United States tension after Republican Senator Rick Scott arrived in Taiwan on a 3-day visit. China conducted military drills and flew fighter jets near Taiwan in response to the visit.Beijing in a statement by Eastern Theater Command accused Washington of making repeated moves of supporting ‘Taiwan Independence’. It further stated that any attempts of ‘Taiwan Independence’ will be crushed as it is the part of mainland China.
