India has taken a tough stand on the statement made by Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei on Indian Muslims. India's Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that Iran should look into its own affairs before talking about anyone else.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that the countries which are making statements about India's minorities should look at their own record before speaking about others. He said, “We condemn the statement of Iran's supreme leader regarding India's minorities. These are ill-informed and unacceptable statements.”
