The junior doctors protesting for their demands in the RG tax case held talks with the state's Chief Secretary Manoj Pant. The nearly two-hour long talks between the West Bengal government and the junior doctors remained inconclusive. After the meeting with the state's Chief Secretary Manoj Pant in the secretariat, the doctors said that they are frustrated and disappointed. The doctors said that they wanted to withdraw the strike but decided to continue the strike as they did not get a written assurance from the government.
