Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address election rallies in Srinagar and Katra on Thursday for the second phase of the assembly elections. He will also visit Mata Vaishno Devi before addressing an election rally in Katra.

On Wednesday, SPG commandos also conducted a rehearsal on the route of the Prime Minister's convoy. According to sources, the Prime Minister may also hold a road show in Dharamnagari. Before this, the Prime Minister will hold an election rally at the Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar. More than 30 thousand party workers are expected to attend it.

Altaf Thakur, a senior leader of the BJP's Kashmir unit, said that all preparations have been completed. Around 20 thousand flags have been installed all over the city. This will be the third visit of the Prime Minister during the elections. He has recently addressed the election supporters in Doda on 14 September.

Union Minister visited the venue of PM's public meeting

PM's public meeting will be held in Dharmanagari on Thursday. In this regard, on Wednesday, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, MP Jugal Kishore and Sat Sharma visited the sports stadium and reviewed the preparations. After this, they also reached the helipad near the railway station and held a meeting with the leaders to get information about the preparations. District President Rohit Dubey, former President of Nagar Palika Vimal Indu, DDC Chairman Saraf Singh Nag and other leaders were present on this occasion.

Today there is tight security in Katra

Voting is to be held in Reasi district under the second phase of the assembly elections. Under this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Katra on September 19 for campaigning on Wednesday. He will address an election rally at the Sports Stadium of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. In view of this, security is tight.

The work of making the stage and pandal in the sports stadium has been completed. On Wednesday, the SPG commandos finalized the preparations by rehearsing on the route of the Prime Minister's convoy. From the helipad built near Katra railway station to the pandal built in the stadium, preparations were made foolproof.

Police personnel including CISF, CRPF and BSF have been deployed. According to sources, the Prime Minister can also do a road show in the holy city. The whole country is looking at the newly formed Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra seat. Due to this, the Prime Minister will address the public in the holy city after Kashmir on Thursday. The Baridaris are angry with the central government. The Prime Minister had promised to fulfill the demands of the Baridaris during a public meeting in Udhampur in 2014, but no action has been taken so far.
