Air India to Reduce International Services of Widebody Aircraft By 15 PC Till June 20 – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

The airline company took a big decision on Wednesday after the Air India aircraft AI-171 crashed in Ahmedabad. AI has cut its international flights in widebody aircraft by 15% for the next few weeks. This deduction will be implemented between June 20. After that, at least will continue till mid -July.

83 international flights canceled in last six days

Air India issued a statement on 18 June, stating that the decision to reduce international flights by 15 per cent has been decided to ensure the stability of operations, improve efficiency and reduce the discomfort of passengers. The airline has said that in the last six days, Air India has canceled 83 international flights due to operational obstacles.

Alternative options will be given to affected passengers

Passengers affected by low flight programs will be given alternative travel options, including re -booking or full correspondence without any additional cost. The revised international program, which will be effective from 20 June 2025, will be released soon.

Safety and attention attention

Air India said that out of its 33 Boeing 787-8/9 aircraft, the necessary security check of 26 has been completed. This investigation was compulsory by the Civil Aviation Department (DGCA) after the Ahmedabad plane crash. The remaining aircraft are under investigation and soon they will also be allowed to flight. Air India has also investigated its Boeing 777 aircraft as a precaution. Air India said, “We consider the safety of our passengers, pilots and aircraft to be the most important and are working closely with the DGCA, Aaib and Ministry of Civil Aviation for this.”

Help of families of accident victims

Air India expressed deep grief over the death of 241 people in the AI-171 aircraft accident. The airline said it was working closely with the Gujarat government to help the victims and the families of the injured. The Tata Group and the volunteers of Air India are deployed to assist hospital coordination in Ahmedabad and to help the body in respectable return. Air India said, “We consider the families of people who have lost their lives in the plane crash and are completely with them in this hour of grief.”
