The Aircraft Bureau of Crisis Investigation (AAIB) has released its preliminary report on the Air India aircraft Boeing Dreamliner B-787-8, which crashed in Ahmedabad on 12 June. The biggest reason for the accident in the report has been said to be closed in both engines of the aircraft. However, detailed investigation, analysis and evidence collections are still ongoing. Therefore the final conclusion has not come out.

Significantly, on June 12, Dreamliner aircraft number B-787-8 of Air India flew from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport to London Gatwick Airport. The aircraft had 230 passengers, 10 cabin crew and 2 crew members. However, a few seconds after flying, the aircraft fell on the hostels of doctors and crashed. In this accident, 260 people, including people on the aircraft, were killed and only one person was left alive.
