All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi said on Thursday that US President Donald Trump’s decision to impose 50 % tariff on Indian goods will cause huge losses to India’s exporters, small industries (MSMEs), manufacturers. This will disrupt the supply chain (supply chain), stop foreign investment (FDI) and will also affect jobs.

A day earlier, Trump imposed an additional 25 percent tariff on India as a fine on purchasing oil from Russia. Owaisi said that Trump has now added 25 per cent tariff and added that India bought oil from Russia, making the total tariff to 50 per cent.

He asked, but what difference does Narendra Modi make? Where are the leaders of BJP ” power demonstration ‘now?

Owaisi tightened up and said, last time I had asked that when Trump puts 56 percent tariff, will Modi ji show his 56 -inch chest? Trump has now stopped at 50 percent. Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order, called ‘to deal with the Russian government with the threats to the US’. Under this order, apart from the already 25 percent tariffs on goods coming from India, 25 percent tariffs have been added, which has come into force from 7 August. After this decision, a total of 50 percent of the goods will be charged on most of the goods sent from India to the US except for a few products.
