
He instructed the District Magistrate not to lack any kind of relief to the disaster affected people. Earlier, he conducted an aerial survey of other disaster affected areas including Bankura of Thalisain Tehsil from Helicopter.
On Thursday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with Cabinet Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, from the disaster affected Tharali area of Uttarkashi, arrived directly among the disaster affected people of Pauri district. He met Burani disaster affected and other villagers in Nautha. During this time, he gave checks of relief amount to five Burani disaster affected people.
After this, the Chief Minister went to the house of disaster affected families on foot in Sainzi village and met them and took stock of the damage caused by the disaster. During this time, the affected families apprised the Chief Minister about their problems.

The Chief Minister wipes the tears of the disaster affected women and tied them up and said that no one should consider themselves alone and stand with the victims in this hour of disaster. He instructed the District Magistrate to speed up the rehabilitation and displacement of the affected. He said that along with assessment of damage caused by excess rainfall, action should be initiated to send the first villagers to safe places.

Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat said that a committee will be formed for rehabilitation. He also said that efforts will be made on priority for people whose shops and houses have been damaged.

Financial assistance was given to 15 families of Prabhadevi, Neelam Bhandari, Bhagat Singh, Pawan Singh, Vimala Devi, Branch Devi, Paveli Devi, Vimal Singh etc. of the disaster affected area village Sainzi. Anil Singh, Shubham Singh and Vikram Singh and Deepak Singh of Vimala Devi, family members of Ashadevi, who lost their lives due to disaster in village Burani, were given financial assistance of two lakh rupees each. While the residential building of Keshar Singh of Burani village was given a financial assistance of Rs one lakh 30 thousand through the check.
