Relief and rescue work continues at disaster site
Teams of police, SDRF, NDRF, ITBP, Army, Fire, Revenue etc. are engaged in relief and rescue operations at the disaster site. The inter -ministry team at the Center will visit the disaster affected areas next week. In this team, along with taking stock of the experts of various ministries, they will also prepare a strategy for rescue and relief work. Apart from this, the joint team of the army and the state will do to monitor the drainage of water from the lake being built in Bhagirathi.On Thursday, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) reviewed the rescue and relief operations in the Dharali disaster with the state officials. The authority of the authority, Rajendra Singh, said, the rescue campaign is being monitored by NDMA. Whatever assistance Uttarakhand needs from the level of NDMA will be made available immediately. All possible financial assistance will be provided from the Central Government level for reconstruction work in Dharali. The team will visit disaster affected areas next week for initial assessment of damage.

Chief Minister wiped tears of Dharali and Sainzi disaster affected
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stayed on the ground zero in Dharali and Sainzi area on the second day. He met the disaster affected families and wiped their tears and assured all possible help to the government. CM said, rescue operations will continue till the removal of every person trapped in the affected areas. During this time, he also monitored the rescue and relief work and continued to take updates from the officers.

JCB, Escator, Dojer, Tipper, Generator and other machinery were transported to Chinyalisaur in Uttarkashi via Chinook helicopter.
