Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said in a speech in the assembly that this bill is a response to the pain and expectations of millions of parents of Delhi. He said, Delhi’s soul lives in medium class streets and small flats, where parents sacrifice their dreams by sacrificing their dreams. Education will not be allowed to be a profit shop.

The Delhi Legislative Assembly has passed the fee bill 2025 for rein in the arbitrary fees of private schools. On Friday, ‘Delhi School Education (Transparency in Fee Determination and Regulation) Bill 2025 was passed by a majority in the House. Chief Minister Rekha Gupta described it as the guard of parents, who will bring transparency and accountability in education. This bill will not only stop the arbitrariness of schools, but the parents will also get relief.
