Uttarkashi Dharali Disaster Every Technique Used to Search for Missing People, 729 Have Been Rescured So Far – Amar Ujala Hindi News Live

The rescue operation continues on a war footing to search for missing people in the Dharali disaster. Every technique is being used for research. SDRF and NDRF are searching under debris and heavy stones with the help of thermal imaging, Victim Locating cameras and investigative dogs. On Friday evening, 257 people rescued the stranded people. Whereas so far (four days) more than 729 people have been transported to safe places from Harshil, Gangotri, Matli.

Relief and rescue operations are going on in Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s monitoring disaster affected Dharli area. The Chief Minister is also on ground zero for the third day. Along with meeting the affected people, they are giving instructions to the officials along with taking information from the rescue and relief work.

On Friday, the Chief Minister reached Matli Helipad and sent a consignment of relief material from the helicopter. Along with providing machinery for rescue and relief work from Chinook and MI-17 helicopter, trapped people are being evacuated. By the evening, 257 passengers from Harshil, Jhala, Gangotri had been airlifted to Matli by the helicopter of Army and Yukada.
