CGT Union chief Sophie Binet said that this is the first time that there are three days of strike and demonstrations in a month without the government and the budget. He clearly said that the public will not sit silent now and this is the time when decisions are being made, so it is necessary to raise the voice.

The new Prime Minister Sebastian Lakeornu has not yet presented its budget nor has appointed the entire cabinet. Parliament will debate the budget by the end of the year. Meanwhile, the angry people have increased pressure on the government.

Teachers and health workers also joined

National Railway Company SNCF said that high-speed trains remained normal but there was partial disruption in regional services. The metro in Paris was almost normal, although several suburban trains ran at limited capacity. At the same time, some teachers and health workers also participated in the strike.

According to the French Ministry of Home Affairs, about 85 thousand people took to the streets outside Paris till Thursday afternoon. However, more than five lakh people attended the last demonstration on 18 September. The unions claimed that more than one million people attended the strike and protest that day.
