Prime Minister Narendra Modi surrounded the Congress party, referring to the terrorist attack on 17 years ago. He put the policy of the then government in the dock after the Mumbai terror attack. PM Modi said, Mumbai is one of the most vibrant cities in India as well as India’s financial capital. Therefore, in 2008, terrorists chose the city of Mumbai for a major attack. But then the Congress government which was in power, gave a message of weakness and succumbed to terrorism.
‘Congress government prevented the country’s armies from attacking Pakistan’
Prime Minister Modi said, ‘Recently a big Congress leader, who has been the Home Minister of the country during the Congress rule, has made a big disclosure in an interview that our forces were ready to attack Pakistan after the 2008 Mumbai attack. The whole country also wanted the same, but under the pressure of another country, the Congress government stopped the country’s armies from attacking Pakistan.

Now India gives strong answers, the world saw strength during operation vermilion
PM Modi said, “The Congress will have to tell who it was who decided under foreign pressure and played with the spirit of Mumbai and the country.” He said, there is nothing more than the security of the country and the countrymen for us. Today’s India gives strong answers, enters and kills the house. The world has seen this operation during vermilion.
PM Modi spoke on India’s global connectivity
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first phase of Navi Mumbai International Airport on Wednesday. In his address after the inauguration, Prime Minister Modi said, ‘Today Mumbai’s long wait ended. Mumbai has now got its second international airport. The airport will play a big role in establishing the region as Asia’s largest connectivity hub. Underlining its importance, he said, this new airport will also be able to connect with the supermarkets of Europe and West Asia with this new airport.
Congress party also asked sharp questions to the government
Earlier, the Congress party also raised sharp questions to the central government. Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh said, “The latest notification issued on 30 September 2025 has also included the names of countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Turki and Israel.” He said, ‘Look, how quickly the diplomatic environment changes and how fast diplomatic shocks grow. The Congress General Secretary, while sharing copies of both the US notifications, said that it is a sign of failure of India’s foreign policy.
