Indian team head coach Gautam Gambhir says that he will never be able to forget the defeat in the Test series at home against New Zealand last year. Under Gambhir’s coach, India has won the Champions Trophy and Asia Cup titles this year, but their record in the Test format has been mixed. India had to face 0-3 defeat in the Test series against New Zealand in 2024. After this, the team could not win the Test series against Australia also, due to which it could not make it to the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle.
